Biography  

In 1960 I graduated from the P.Selvatico Institute of Padua - Italy, and immediately started my career as a teacher of art, at the same time as a freelance designer I have been working with the most renowned plastic toy industry in Italy, with the task of designing new lines  of toys, designing and realizing their prototypes. As a lover of wood, in 1999, I came to the idea of ??starting a quest to create high artistic objects  simple painted wooden toys, niche creations that did not yet exist in the field of art or in the artistic craftsmanship of excellence.
        There were so many lines of pony born, differentiated by a different anatomical profile and its playing function. Their primary function is therefore to be a piece of art from collection, an original gift, a memory of an important life time, but also take on the fun-educational role-play related to the baby,
an invitation addressed to the adult to educate the child to art, to the beauty, to understand, love and respect valuable objects. It seemed to me a very interesting and original idea to transform  a toy in a painting or sculpture, a work that the child feels because of its size. Unique works made with watercolor and padding and finishing in gold leaf 22Kt.

He learned in his father's shop the first notions of woodworking, exercising
and acquiring the various techniques of processing the material. He graduated in the arts and became a teacher of artistic subjects and the same time raneamente collaborating for over thirty years with the leading Italian industries of the toy the plastic.     attention over the last fifteen years has turned to what has always been by his passion, the wood, thus creating some art painted wooden toys.  

 Toys recreational and educational art ,  My works are the result of the two most important business activities of my life.My idea has always been to elevate the artistic level of simple toys wood, making the horses in various shapes, decorated with watercolor technique  and by interpreting figurative well-defined educational themes and custom.     I think I affrontatre a very interesting topic and original as the most various forms it is presented.       My works related to adult are attractive to the uniqueness of the issues and sophistication the expressive technique miniaturized which make them true collector's items.   But my desire is also to bring art to the child with works in his  size, invite the adult to train him in the art form of the game, a transformed framework  Toy I think is an interesting form to make it clear to the child from an early age  which is very important to surround yourself from objects that should be respected for their educational function, cultural and aesthetic.      My works then have the desire to be projected over time, not a toy   intended to dynamically-hand experiences, but ducativo.culturali under innumerable aspects, horse, nature, insects, ilpaesaggio, castle, fairy tales, etc., all arguments presen tati in a simple and realistic to be easily assimilated.     At each line it is given a name, designed a precisely contoured Pony  establishing his gambling facility, if rocking or wheels made of precious wood,   a decorative theme is chosen as the main theme, but allows it to generate inter  interpretations are always different, thus creating unique pieces, often with two different images  one on each side.    Each work therefore differs in an imaginative interpretation of ornate and visions fanctiche, with simple games reviving the memory of a magical world that is unlikely now  you can relive.
